BP Macondo Disaster Public Technical Sessions
Relief Well & Ranging Animation with BP Senior Vice President Kent Wells. BP needed a clear way to explain to the public, the government and the media, the complex technology used to locate the Macondo well in 5000' of water, 3 miles deep. Animation programs were also used to inform the rig crews working on the disaster so they would understand quickly the methods created by a team of world experts to stop the Oil Flow.
